One of my favourite things to do is to take a screen shot from a favorite movie or show and recreate it as a dramatic watercolour. I loved the Queen's Gambit and this portrait was so much fun to do over the Christmas Break! 

I love to frame these dark watercolours in white with matting, whenever possible. This painting, in particular, would work well in a neutral space, or one that picks up on the mossy green of her dress or her red hair.
